Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking online myself?
Great question. You absolutely can book online. The difference is support, expertise, and advocacy. I help you narrow down the right cruise line, resort, or destination based on your travel style and budget. I handle the details, monitor your booking, and step in if something goes sideways. Instead of a call center, you get a real person who knows your trip. Additionally, I often have access to exclusive rates, perks, or opportunities that are not available to the general public.
Does it cost more to book with you?
In most cases, no. Cruises and all-inclusive resorts already build the travel advisor commission into the price, whether you use one or not. By working with me, you’re supporting my small business. You get my planning, guidance, and support at no additional cost. If you book on your own, the cruise line or resort simply keeps that commission amount for themselves.
For more complex itineraries or fully custom trips, I do charge a planning fee, which is always discussed and disclosed upfront.
What types of travel do you specialize in?
I can book all types of travel! However, I specialize in:
Cruises, including Caribbean, Alaska, and European sailings
All-inclusive resorts
Family vacations
Can you help with flights and travel insurance?
Yes. I can add flights to most cruise and resort packages and also help you choose travel protection options that make sense for your trip. I will walk you through what is covered so you can make an informed decision. I cannot recommend travel insurance enough! It’s a lifesaver!
What if something goes wrong during my trip?
If delays, cancellations, or unexpected issues pop up, I am here to help. While I cannot control the weather, airline schedules, or world events, I can advocate on your behalf and guide you through your options. You are never on your own.
I have already picked my cruise or resort. Can you still help?
Absolutely. If you already know what you want, I can book it for you, check for available perks or promotions, and make sure everything is set up properly.
Do you only work with luxury clients?
Not at all. I work with a wide range of budgets. My job is to help you get the best experience possible within your comfort zone.
How far in advance should I book?
For cruises and popular all-inclusive resorts, booking earlier is usually better, especially during peak seasons and for family travel. Ideally, 6 to 12 months in advance gives you the best selection and pricing. That said, I also love a good last-minute trip if the timing works.
Can you help plan group trips?
Yes. Family reunions, friend groups, birthday cruises, destination celebrations. I coordinate rooms/cabins, payments, and details so you do not have to chase everyone down. Traveling is more fun with more friends/family!
How do I get started?
Simple. Reach out through my inquiry form or send me a message. I will ask a few questions about what you are looking for, your budget, and your travel style. From there, I will put together options tailored just for you.
